Sat next to a young couple celebrating their 1st Anniv with their 1st visit to Fredericksburg from Dallas. The hard pineapple cider was refreshing, and the Jagerschnitzle was one of the best I've ever had!! ”

Service has always been friendly and attentive they do tend to get busy at time's but none the less food is delicious. The menu offers plenty of choices as well as beers on tap or even a few wines to choose from. Sometimes they have live music playing but not too loud that you can't still enjoy your conversation at your table. ”

“ Good German food which shouldn’t be surprising in Fredericksburg, but glad to not be disappointed. Enjoyed the atmosphere and employees were very friendly. The jalapeno pimento cheese appetizer was tasty and spicy as expected. The Jagerschnitzel was good although I’m personally more used to a brown gravy but their red wine gravy is tasty. Red cabbage and German potato salad are good even if they use the English names. I’d like to try the other German restaurants in town to compare, but wouldn’t mind eating here again. ”
